My Heart Breaks So Easily So Just Be Gentle With Me

Today in my 'neck of the woods' it is officially 68 degrees. I'm spending the better part of today babysitting Cassie and Meya. If you could call it that. They're really good kids. I've been spending my time checking my email while they watch cartoons. Besides the occasional discussion of what's next that's really all there is to it. Our conversations consist of this:
Cassie - "It went off"
Me - "It will come back on"
15 minutes later
Cassie - "It went off"
Me - "It will come back on"

So as you see it's been a pretty mellow day.

Music for the day:
The Boy Least Likely To - 'Be Gentle With Me' [It's too cute not to love it. The intro reminds me of something that should be a theme to a children show]

RIP. BFF Feb. 2005 - Nov. 2008

Well, sadly after almost 3 years I have to say that my best friend is no longer. He didn't die, disappear, or even get abducted. He simply decided he no longer wanted me. And I quote, "I love you, I'm just not in love with you." I don't know about you but when I hear that phrase I believe it came straight from a rerun of Beverly Hills 90210. I've been putting off this blog for several reasons. But I guess the main is because I really didn't want to admit it. I've finally come to terms and as hard as this is for me it's time to move on. A very intelligent man said I was 'hanging on to the relationship.' [Thanks Wes.] I really have been hanging on. It's time to let go. We had a good run but unfortunately it couldn't last. It's time for us both to move on to bigger and better things. We just wanted different things from life and could no longer make each other happy. Thank you for the good times.

Adieu, adieu...parting is such sweet sorrow

On a far lighter note, I've got some more good music for you. Anybody that actually reads this give these two songs a listen and tell me what you think. I would have had another song but I couldn't find a youtube video. If you get the chance check out The Duke Spirit - Darling, You're Mean. It's worth your time.

100Monkeys - Scientists [I've fallen in love with this song. Watch the video and see who you can spot playing guitar. He's a cutie =D]

Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip - Look For The Woman [Check out thier song 'Thou Shalt Always Kill' also]

To Roam...

I've grown restless in Georgia. Who can blame me? After 18 years in one place I'm sure anybody would get tired of it. Now, I know I've been out of Georgia. But an occasional trip to Penn. to visit my grandma just doesn't cut it. I want to get out. I need to get out. I've always felt the urge to travel. Ever since I've been a little girl. But suddenly it's magnified by a million. There's so many things to see in this world and I'm wasting my life in one spot. I can no longer stand the weather, the culture, or anything else about Georgia. What I wouldn't give for my own 'Great Alaskan Adventure'. Of course I'm not saying I want to go and die eating berries. But just to be out in the world. My sould aches for it.

Two years he walks the earth. No phone, no pool, no pets, no cigarettes. Ultimate freedom. An extremist. An aesthetic voyager whose home is the road. Escaped from Atlanta. Thou shalt not return, 'cause "the West is the best." And now after two rambling years comes the final and greatest adventure. The climactic battle to kill the false being within and victoriously conclude the spiritual pilgrimage. Ten days and nights of freight trains and hitchhiking bring him to the Great White North. No longer to be poisoned by civilization he flees, and walks alone upon the land to become lost in the wild. - Alexander Supertramp May 1992

As soon as possible I'm going to be gone. To anywhere I can go. To see anything I can see. Just take this as an advanced goodbye.

Well I like this world, well I like this world
Well I like this world
I would watch
Pray I would [work]
Like I would watch
Ghost and the rain
[Cold], the freedom
And I'm walkin the hallway
Yeah I'm walkin the hallway
I'm walking the hallway
Said I'm walking the hallway, and I'm walking the hallway
I am grown, I am [grown]
Think of the day where I'm sure to come
When I'm seen, I'm smiling [of ages]
When I know where I'm going to run
When I know where I will goI will be gone somewhere else
You could see, you could see it through my mind
Know, you'd know it
You'd know when my eyes roam
Through the fog and hail, a scene [I missed]
Nowhere, nowhere, nowhere, should know where
Should know where, should know where
Should know where, should know where baby
Cause I like this world, and I like this world yeah
Some people were born to roam
Some people they roam this world alone
Some people were born to roam
Some people they roam this world alone
Louder, louder

I'm unconditionally and irrevocably in love with

Robert Pattinson.
Now before you jumping to conclusions, hear me out. This has nothing to do with his role as Edward Cullen (although it doesn't hurt his case). I don't even care that he has the gorgeous looks of a Greek God.
It's his musical talent that I'm in love with. Take notice of the word talent. That's something that very few musicians have nowadays.
If I could meet him and make him sing for me I'd give up seeing all his movies and never look at his stunning face again.
His music is so much more passionate and soulful then anything I've heard in quite a long time. He doesn't just do whatever people want to hear. He actually expresses how he truely feels. And for that I applaud him.
Listen to his cover of Van Morrison's 'I'll Be Your Lover Too'. It will make you wanna (trust me, I've always hated this phrase so that should show you how much I love this song) "smack your momma".
So without further adieu I give you Robert Pattinson. Enjoy =]

For Anybody That Actually Reads This

I entered a Twilight contest on ifilm.com a few weeks ago. So imagine my surprise when I was told that I made top 10 finalist. My entry is more on the humorous side while all the others a more serious. I think that's why I'm not doing so well. If anybody can vote for me it'd be deeply appreciated. Tell friends to vote as well. I'm entry #6 [Danae]

Lullaby

Is it just me or is this the sweetest song ever written?

Twilight Trailer

I don't think I can possibly wait any longer for this movie to come out. I'm going crazy with anticipation. I know Robert Pattinson will exceed my hopes in his role as Edward.
