My grandma is a big cooker. Now that is usually a great thing. Except for situations like this. My stomach is not feeling great at the moment. I'd rather just sit around and relax. But of course she cooked something and made me eat. Now I feel even worse. There's only so much a person can fit into their stomach. And mine is pretty much filled to the brim. I think I might actually explode. I just want to curl into a ball and die.
Finally saw Pride and Prejudice today. Of course it wasn't as good as the book but it was pretty damn close. At least this time Amanda wasn't around to fall asleep!

Music:
We The Kings - Skyway Avenue [Finally a song that Amanda and I can agree on. I can't take listening to Cher with her anymore =)]

Radiohead - 15 Step [A certain somebody has gotten this song stuck in my head. Even though he would never let me listen to it in the car =/]

After an extremely stressful couple of days I'm finally in a better place mentally and emotionally. The majority of my stuff is now moved into my mother's house. After the end of this month I'll be completely moved in. This is stressful itself because there's really nowhere for me right now. With the renovating I've just been crashing on the couch. And all my stuff is scattered throughout the entire house. But it's getting better. I also happen to have some of the best friends I've ever had right now. Even though we've only known each other a short period of time they've already helped me through a lot. They've done much more for me then a lot of my other friends. I've also been talking to a pretty nifty guy. =]] But no need to get ahead of myself.

Music:
The Academy Is - Beware!Cougar! [Probably my favorite song off of the album 'Fast Times At Barrington High']

Hellogoodbye - Here In Your Arms [Hellogoodbye used to be my favoritest band ever. I had forgotten how much I love them]

Muse - Supermassive Black Hole [Muse at it's finest. This song really really really makes me want to see them in concert. Matthew Bellamy's voice pretty much melts my spine :)]

Just Let Me Sing You To Sleep

Today was a pretty good day and for no real reason. Maybe it had to do with my late night escapades. [Don't get any bad ideas] I sat on my bed and knitted. That doesn't sound too bad now does it? Well, now factor in what I was watching on TV: Golden Girls. I have become middle aged at 18.

At this current moment in time I'm pretty darn happy. Yuffie [She's named after a Final Fantasy character. Does that show how dorky I am?] and I are lounging on my bedroom floor listening to music. Every now and then she'll growl. But not an angry growl. More of a content moan. Then I'll look at her, call her name, and blow her a kiss. That sends her tail into over-drive. She's pretty much my best friend ever. I do have to give Nick that; He gave me an awesome Christmas present two years ago. Even if she's not a pug like she was supposed to be.

Cute, Right?

Music:

[I'm in a pretty sappy mood as the music shows]

The Spill Canvas - Lullaby [I know I've talked about this song on here before but I just can't get enough of it. I'm pretty sure that if any guy was to learn this song to play and sing for me I would fall in love immediately]

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Your Guardian Angel [I usually just turn this song on repeat and listen to it for hours at a time. It's that good. And equally as sweet]

Tell Me Again About Those Better Days...

Not much to write today. I only have a few songs that I'd like to send to a certain person. As I'm in the habit of keeping the peace nowadays putting them on this blog will have to do.

Incubus - Blood On The Ground (If that certain someone happens to read this blog I'm sure this song is pretty self explanatory. The lyrics are pretty much how I feel anytime I see you.)

Lyrics:

I don't wanna talk to you anymore

I'm afraid of what I might say

I bite my tongue every time you come around

'Cause blood in my mouth beats

Blood on the ground

Hand over my heart I swear

I've tried everything I could within all my power

Two weeks and one hour I slaved

And now I've got nothing to show

Oh if only you'd grow taller than a brick wall

From now on, gonna start holding my breath

When you come around

And you flex that fake grin

'Cause something inside me has said more than twice

That breathing LESS air beats breathing you in, oh

I don't wanna talk to you anymore

I'm afraid of what I might say

I bite my tongue every time you come around

'Cause blood in my mouth beats

Blood on the ground

Hand over my mouth, I'm earning the right to my silence

In quiet discerning between ego and timing

Good judgment is once again proving to me

That it's still worth it's weight in gold

From now on I'm gonna be so much more wary

When you start to speak and my warm blood starts to boil

Seeing you is like pulling teeth

And hearing your voice is like chewing tin foil

I don't wanna talk to you anymore

I'm afraid of what I might say

I bite my tongue every time you come around

'Cause blood in my mouth beats

Blood on the ground

High fives to better judgment

By saying less today, I will gain more, gain more

Low twos to you my, my fickle friend

You, you, you who brought the art of silent war

I don't wanna talk to you anymore

I'm afraid of what I might say

I bite my tongue every time you come around

'Cause blood in my mouth beats

Blood on the ground

Hot Hot Heat - Goodnight, Goodnight (The music sounds really upbeat while the lyrics are little more serious)

Katy Perry - Hot & Cold (Again, the lyrics are self explanatory)

Cauterize - Killing Me ("No more sleepless nights alone, This bed is better without you")

Music:

Muse - Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want (Probably one of my favorite covers ever)

Kaiser Chiefs - Heard It Through The Grapevine (Must be a day for cover songs. I'm a fan of pretty much anything the Kaiser Chiefs do but I love his voice in this song.)

MGMT - Electric Feel (I love this song but I totally hate the remix. It's a waste of time so don't even check it out)

Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl (I pretty much need a guy that will learn this song and sing it to me. Then I can die happy. Unfortunately I couldn't find a non-live version so you should totally download it.)
